37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

 

(Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 5pm, Friday 08:30 – 4.30pm)

The main purpose of the role is to analyse and report data to help the college improve its performance, decision making, data accuracy and income optimisation. You will be a champion of data best practice, providing both support and challenge to colleagues at all levels.

 

This exciting role will involve proactively identifying and addressing areas of weakness and opportunities for improvement as well as implementing systems and processes to monitor and ensure best practice is being followed. As part of Information Services you will continually assess suitability of current controls and processes and make improvement recommendations, particularly in light of regulatory changes. You will deputise for the Head of Information Services, ensuring that systems operate effectively, funding returns are accurate and the college meets its statutory and regulatory requirements. As a senior member of the team, you will help support and develop the knowledge of junior members.

 

The successful candidate will have advanced Excel skills, strong data analysis skills and have the ability to work with large volumes of data to identify trends, monitor performance and issues. Previous experience in a data performance role is essential. Knowledge of Further Education funding and performance methodology is desirable.
