GCSE Revision Coaches – Fixed Term (6 weeks)

 

£12.13 per hour + £2.13 holiday pay

To

£17.22 per hour + £3.02 holiday pay

The main purpose of the role is to ensure quality support is matched to learners need, learning style and to focus on learner autonomy and the development of study skills. You will deliver small group support and deliver focused and contextualised English or Maths revision sessions, deploying a range of strategies in order to prepare students for GCSE/Functional skills exams including assessment of learner’s work, providing feedback, which further supports their progress.

 

This exciting role will involve attending departmental and course team meetings where appropriate and providing feedback to curriculum staff on student work/progress and contribute to staff meetings.

 

The successful candidate will have a CTTLS qualification or equivalent/working towards. Working knowledge of the post-16 education system, excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a range of teams is essential for this role. You will need experience teaching remedial Maths and English as part of a programme of study, completing learner reviews and SMART target setting. Experience of supporting learners through personal development plans is desirable.
