27.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

 

£15,925.84 To £17,929.71 per annum

(Pro rata £21,428.75 To £24,125.02 per annum)

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the effective operation of the Professional Studies department. You will liaise with students and tutors to ensure correct advice and guidance is provided and delivery of courses is effective.

 

This exciting role will involve proactively developing the programme of professional courses, taking into account; numbers, customer satisfaction and success rates. You will organise relevant databases and manage the approval process for new courses within the department and awarding body, as well as contribute to the gathering of market intelligence and the exploration of the feasibility of courses. As part of the Professional Studies department you will work with the Business & Apprenticeships department to explore opportunities as well as support employers to ensure current needs are met and potential opportunities for course development is identified.

 

The successful candidate will have a good general level of education, be competent in IT and working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as have the ability to demonstrate good time management skills, innovation, problem solving. A minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience is essential and experience in an educational organisation would be desirable.
